Tuesday 11 March - 8.00 pm - Whittington Village Hall Committee meeting. All observers welcome.

Tuesday 18 March - 10.30 am - 'Alaska & The Canadian Yukon'. A talk by Colin Clarkson, with slides,in the Village Hall 7.30pm. £2.50 with Bar and Raffle.

Saturday 29 March - 7.30 am - LAVA - Latino Guitar Blues Tickets £5.00 Adults £2.50 Children from Eric Pelter (71103) of Maureen Keegan (73052). Complete with Bar & Raffle.

Thursday 17 April - 7.30 am - The Queens Guide to Morecambe Bay A talk by Cedric Robinson.

Friday 25 April - 7.30 am - The Pampered Chef A cookery demonstration and Kitchen Equipment Sale in aid of local Multiple Sclerosis Charities.

Library Van and P.A.C.T

The Lancashire County Mobile Library Van visits the village on alternate Tuesday's from 11.45am to 12.15am. The dates for the current month are posted on the bus stop notice board. The stopping places are the Village Hall, and Loyne Park.

Our local Police officer, PC Jude Knowles, visits the village as part of the P.A.C.T (Police and Community Together) scheme each month. You will find the vehicle parked in front of the Village Hall on 06 March and 03 April between 5.30pm and 6.00pm.
