The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed and signed.

POLICE REPORT: PC Winder reported only minor incidents in the parish since the last meeting. There was some discussion on the problem of accidents due to speeding.
Another officer, PCSO Annette Hoover is to join the team responsible for the parish. She hopes to attend the next meeting.

MATTTERS ARISING: There were no matters arising

CORRESPONDENCE: Various items were noted.
A standard reply from Jim Fitzpatrick MP (DTI) giving the Government's intentions on the future of rural post offices had been received.
Clerk to complete questionnaire about the use of electronic mail for planning documents.
The offer from Geraldine Smith MP to attend a meeting this year to be accepted.
At the invitation of the Council Cllr. Airey commented on correspondence received concerning Special Expenses, the Neighbourhood Management plan and the White paper - 'Strong and Prosperous Communities' and Lancaster's bid to become a Unitary Authority.
At the suggestion of Cllr. Hodgson he agreed to try and set up a meeting with the Chief Executive and our surrounding parishes in the near future.
